The Dome, one of OVG’s high-energy venues, is currently seeking hardworking and reliable Barbacks to join their team and support their bartending staff. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of the bar area, ensuring that it remains fully stocked and efficient throughout events. Barbacks work behind the scenes to uphold the quality and speed of service that guests expect, helping to create a memorable experience in a fast-paced environment.

The Barback position at The Dome is an hourly, part-time role that offers a wage of $8.00 per hour plus tips. It includes valuable benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, providing long-term financial advantages even for part-time employees. The position demands physical stamina, a positive attitude, and a strong team spirit to support the bartenders and enhance overall bar operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and garnishes during events, as well as assisting with bar setup and breakdown, managing glassware and trash, handling kegs safely, and occasionally interacting with guests to meet basic requests.

This role requires adherence to all venue policies, health regulations, and responsible alcohol service guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment. While prior barback or restaurant experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory, making this a great opportunity for individuals looking to enter the live entertainment or hospitality fields. Candidates must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by The Dome’s event schedule. Additionally, candidates must meet any state or local alcohol service requirements, if applicable.
