The Barback role at Oak View Group plays a vital part in supporting the operations of the bar and enhancing guest experiences. Primarily responsible for assisting bartenders by restocking products promptly and efficiently during events, the Barback ensures that bartenders remain well-equipped to serve guests without interruption. This role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing inventory, including handling non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic products, ice wells, and cleaning supplies. Barbacks are also tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and surrounding areas, which involves sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and organizing storage spaces to uphold health and safety standards consistently.

Candidates for this position must exhibit excellent teamwork skills, adaptability, and strong communication abilities to interact professionally with colleagues, management, and guests. They should be vigilant in recognizing guests who might be intoxicated and ensure that bartenders are alerted to promote responsible service. The position is hourly, paying $18 per hour, and includes the opportunity to earn tips.
