Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in barback or similar roles preferred
- ability to stand and move throughout the event duration
- physical ability to lift and carry heavy items such as kegs
- strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- excellent attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner
- possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to product inventory
- experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar capacity is preferred
Job Duties
- Stocking products for the bar including non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, and icing wells
- sweeping and mopping the bar
- moving kegs in and out of keg coolers and tapping kegs
- running supplies for bartenders including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers
- ensuring location equipment is operable and clean before events
- maintaining cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas using sanitation procedures
- recognizing visibly intoxicated guests and alerting bartenders
- maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards
- demonstrating excellent attendance
