Job Description
TC Restaurants is a prominent hospitality group operating a variety of renowned venues in the Nashville, Tennessee area. Their portfolio features dynamic entertainment and dining experiences tied to some of the biggest names and brands in country music, such as Luke Bryan's 32 Bridge Food + Drink, Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up, Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Sun Diner, Luigi's City Pizza, Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa, Tequila Cowboy, and Wanna B's Karaoke Bar. Each venue is meticulously designed to deliver exceptional guest experiences combining food, beverage, and vibrant social atmospheres that capture the spirit of Nashville's nightlife and culture. As part of a leading restaurant group, the brand is committed to high standards of service, atmosphere, and quality while fostering a positive environment for both guests and team members.
The Barback position at TC Restaurants plays a critical support role in ensuring smooth bar operations across all venues in the group. The role is responsible for setting up and stocking inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing all bars, liquor rooms, storage spaces, and back-of-house areas. This ensures that bartenders and servers can efficiently deliver outstanding guest service without delays or shortages. Barbacks assist with opening and closing duties, manage products like syrups, garnishes, beer, liquor, and wine, and handle various physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies. This position also involves routine cleaning, glassware maintenance, and waste disposal to uphold the high standards of safety and hygiene expected by TC Restaurants.
In addition to hands-on bar support, the Barback must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude, demonstrating superior guest service and team collaboration during every shift. The job demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and liquor laws. It also entails proactive communication by reporting shortages, damages, and guest-related incidents to management immediately. Working as a Barback in this fast-paced, customer-focused environment offers an excellent opportunity to learn the restaurant and bar trade, develop industry knowledge, and grow professionally within a respected hospitality company in the vibrant Nashville market.
The role requires constant movement across indoor and outdoor spaces, operating under varying environmental conditions including noise, heat, and exposure to nightlife factors like second-hand smoke and strobe lighting. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to possess any necessary work permits such as the ABC Servers Permit. Shifts are varied, covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays, typically exceeding 30 hours weekly with potential for approved overtime. TC Restaurants values leadership qualities such as accountability, teamwork, punctuality, and guest satisfaction, and these are core to the Barback’s success and performance evaluation.
Overall, this Barback opportunity offers a dynamic entry or growth position within a celebrated restaurant group known for high energy venues and outstanding guest engagement in the heart of Music City. Individuals passionate about hospitality, eager to support vibrant bar operations, and committed to professional growth will find this role fulfilling and rewarding.
