Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Positive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and pride in providing excellent service
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Team-oriented mindset with reliable punctuality and a willingness to support teammates as needed
- Experience in an upscale, full-service restaurant is preferred but not required
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the position and hospitality industry
- Ability to follow direction, take initiative, and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Certification for food handling as required by state and local regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time

Job Duties
- Support bartenders throughout service to ensure efficient, seamless bar operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar including bar tops, wells, floors, sinks, and service areas
- Wash, polish, and organize glassware to ensure consistent availability during service
- Stock and replenish liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, garnishes, and bar supplies
- Assist with prep work including fresh juice, fruit prep, garnishes, and batch cocktails
- Run food to the bar and dining room as needed to support service flow
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to bartenders and managers
- Follow opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures to ensure the bar is fully prepared and properly broken down
- Maintain basic working knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and cocktails to support the bar team effectively
- Communicate clearly and professionally with bartenders, servers, and managers
- Uphold Vandelay's standards of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality at all times
