In this role, the Barback & Floor Support will be responsible for supporting the bartenders and floor team to maintain seamless service throughout the shift. Duties involve executing a disciplined opening routine including stocking lowboys, batches, syrups, spirits, ice, and other essential bar items; maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar; restocking glassware, ice, juices, and spirits during service; and assisting with resetting bar tops and running bus tubs to the dish pit. Barbacks also play an integral role in ensuring mid-service breakdowns happen discreetly to guarantee uninterrupted service and help close down the bar efficiently.

Beyond bar duties, the Floor Support responsibilities include delivering cocktails, spirits, and food promptly and accurately to guests; acting as a communication bridge between the bar, kitchen, and floor teams; supporting table maintenance by clearing and resetting for new guests; and contributing to a polished and energetic atmosphere during peak hours. Job Duties

  • Execute a disciplined opening routine stock lowboys batches syrups spirits ice and all bar essentials
  • maintain a clean and organized bar throughout service while supporting bartenders with speed and accuracy
  • keep glassware ice batches juices and spirits stocked during service
  • attend to any miscellaneous needs the bar might need during service
  • reset the bar top after guests depart run bus tubs to the dish pit and assist with running food to guests occasionally
  • execute mid-service breakdowns discreetly clean wells consolidate bottles restock and maintain uninterrupted service
  • close down with the team run tools through dish pit consolidate trash and linens and ensure the bar is polished and ready for the next day
  • remain guest-aware composed and communicative in a fast-paced environment
  • communicate proactively with lead bartenders and the Beverage Director regarding inventory and bar needs
  • deliver cocktails spirits and food items promptly and accurately to guests
  • act as a communication link between the bar kitchen and floor team
  • assist with table maintenance including clearing resetting and preparing for the next guests
  • support the floor team during peak hours to ensure smooth service
