Job Requirements

  • Must be at least twenty-one years old
  • Prior experience as a barback or in a similar role preferred but not mandatory
  • Must possess a valid Food Handlers Certification
  • Must have Alcohol Service Licensing or certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift at least 15 pounds
  • Ability to learn POS software like Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and complete orders quickly and accurately

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Support bartenders by replenishing supplies like ice, garnishes, and glassware in a timely manner
  • Set up and break down the bar area, including cleaning and polishing glassware and restocking ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar counters, floors, shelves, and equipment
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with bar manager to ensure adequate supplies
  • Assist bartenders in serving customers by taking orders and delivering drinks
  • Collaborate in preparing and serving specialty cocktails and operate beverage equipment
  • Adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations and report hazards
  • Work closely with staff to ensure efficient communication and operations during busy times
  • Stay updated on beverage trends and attend training sessions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
