Job Description
Our Club is a vibrant and dynamic entertainment venue dedicated to offering an unforgettable experience for every guest. Known for its lively atmosphere, exceptional service, and commitment to safety and quality, our establishment prides itself on creating a welcoming environment where patrons can enjoy great music, drinks, and company. Our team is passionate about hospitality and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, well-organized, and efficient workspace to ensure smooth daily operations and top-tier guest satisfaction.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Barback Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the bartenders and VIP servers by maintaining the bar’s cleanliness, stocking supplies, and assisting with various operational tasks that contribute to the overall guest experience. The Barback Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring that all bar areas, washrooms, and outdoor spaces are safe, clean, and well-stocked at all times. They will utilize detailed Club Opening and Closing Checklists to track daily procedures and ensure comprehensive coverage of all responsibilities.
This position demands a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced nightclub environment and is committed to excellence in service. The Barback Assistant will be responsible for conducting regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and safety standards, assisting with closing procedures for bar and cocktail services, and monitoring for underage drinking to comply with legal and company policies. Furthermore, this role encourages teamwork and collaboration, contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting the goal of delivering outstanding guest experiences that encourage return visits.
Beyond the primary duties, the Barback Assistant must also manage time efficiently by accurately clocking in and out for each shift, adhering to break policies, and actively participating in mandatory staff meetings and training sessions. Reporting any harassment, discrimination, or safety concerns to management promptly is also a critical part of this role, helping to maintain a respectful and safe work environment.
Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience working in a nightclub or similar hospitality environment, and strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and the Aloha system, are required to assist with various administrative tasks. Due to the physical nature of the work, candidates must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
Joining our Club means becoming part of a team focused on delivering excellence in hospitality within a fun and dynamic workplace. We offer opportunities for personal and professional growth while supporting one another in creating memorable experiences for our guests. If you are eager to contribute your skills and enthusiasm to a thriving nightclub environment, we look forward to meeting you and exploring the potential for you to be a key member of our team.
