The role of Banquet Barback within Legends Global's Food & Beverage Department is a part-time hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain. This role is instrumental in supporting bartenders during events by providing necessary assistance such as managing ice, glassware, and additional bar products. It requires a proactive approach to ensure efficient bar operations, maintaining the quality and readiness of supplies, while adhering to health and safety regulations. The Banquet Barback must possess TIPS or TAMS certification, as well as the Food Handler certification mandated by municipality or state law. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory and stock, ensuring compliance with health and sanitation laws, securing product storage areas during events, and keeping the work environment clean and organized. This position demands physical stamina, effective communication, and a positive attitude, as it involves working in a dynamic and high-demand setting, often requiring flexibility in working hours including weekends and holidays.
