The role of Banquet Barback within Legends Global's Food & Beverage Department is a part-time hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain. This role is instrumental in supporting bartenders during events by providing necessary assistance such as managing ice, glassware, and additional bar products. It requires a proactive approach to ensure efficient bar operations, maintaining the quality and readiness of supplies, while adhering to health and safety regulations. The Banquet Barback must possess TIPS or TAMS certification, as well as the Food Handler certification mandated by municipality or state law. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory and stock, ensuring compliance with health and sanitation laws, securing product storage areas during events, and keeping the work environment clean and organized. This position demands physical stamina, effective communication, and a positive attitude, as it involves working in a dynamic and high-demand setting, often requiring flexibility in working hours including weekends and holidays. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- Must have TIPS or TAMS and food handler certification
- Provide valid certification card and carry card while on duty
- Sufficient math ability to count inventory accurately
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to receive and execute instructions via radio
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health department standards
- Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding alcohol service
- Ability to take directions and perform work effectively
- Must speak and understand English
- Must have outgoing, positive attitude when dealing with patrons and employees

Job Duties
- Maintain inventory and stock of all supplies at all bar locations
- Maintain rules and regulations of health and sanitation laws, as well as safe transfer and storage procedures
- Keep all product storage areas locked and secured during events
- Report to work in appropriate uniform for assigned location and event function order
- Maintain organized and clean storeroom
- Enter transfers onto inventory sheets
- Stand in for bartenders during breaks
- Assist in running dirty glassware to kitchen
- Perform other duties as assigned by Food and Beverage Management
