The bar staff role within Live Nation Entertainment offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, perfect for individuals passionate about live music and customer service. The position requires staying informed about current menu items, following event guidelines to ensure smooth operation, and handling numerous side duties like stocking ice bins, liquor, and beverages. Associates will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining bar equipment, performing opening, running, and closing side duties, and ensuring responsible alcohol service in line with local ordinances and company policies.
Employees must ensure all trash and recyclable materials are disposed of properly, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, and assist with stocking bars to venue specifications. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for prolonged periods and occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds. Bar staff may also be required to work special events held at the venue. Job Duties
- Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions
- Follow Special Events guidelines to ensure event success
- Handle side duties including stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers
- Clean and assist with maintaining bar equipment
- Perform opening, running, closing side duties according to company policy
- Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles
- Operate trash compactor per procedures policy
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and company alcohol policies
- Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
- Par all ice bins and bars to venue specifications
- Wash and clean all bar glassware using proper techniques
- Occasionally work Special Events scheduled throughout the venue
