The role of Barback at SodexoMagic is a full-time position located at the American Express Lounge - ATL. This role is essential in supporting bartenders by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring that all the tools, glassware, and supplies are prepared for smooth operations. With a pay rate fixed at $15.00 per hour, candidates are expected to be available for varying shifts that may include different days and hours, with open availability preferred. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, sometimes exceeding eight hours, and to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Key responsibilities include setting up and maintaining bar cleanliness, collecting and washing glassware, preparing fresh garnishes using the first-in, first-out system, restocking supplies, and anticipating replenishment needs. The Barback must also comply with health code standards by maintaining cleanliness in beer lockers, refrigeration, and storage areas.

Candidates for the Barback position should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent GED and have some prior experience in a related field, although the requirement ranges from zero to one year of experience, making it accessible for individuals beginning their careers. The role also requires candidates to meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol and bartending as dictated by local laws.
