Flight Club is renowned as the world’s first Social Darts® experience, blending technology with traditional pub entertainment to create a dynamic and engaging atmosphere. Founded in London in 2015, Flight Club has revolutionized the way people socialize by combining craft cocktails, upscale cuisine, and tech-enabled Social Darts® games. The company operates under State of Play Hospitality and has expanded to more than 30 locations worldwide, including major cities across the United States. With over 10 million guests having experienced Flight Club and more than a billion darts thrown, the company continues to be a frontrunner in innovative entertainment and social gaming. Flight Club’s environment focuses on bringing friends, families, and colleagues together in a stylish, fun, and unique setting that caters to a diverse audience.

The Barback position at Flight Club is a crucial role within the Front of House team, responsible for ensuring seamless support to bartenders and contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Reporting directly to the Assistant General Manager, this role is offered on both part-time and full-time bases, with a non-exempt FLSA status. The Barback assists bartenders by preparing the bar for service, restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency behind the bar. The position demands someone who is constantly moving, multitasking, and proactive in anticipating the needs of bartenders to ensure guests receive timely and high-quality service.

This role requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge of cocktails and menu items, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Barbacks at Flight Club are integral in creating an energetic and positive atmosphere for both guests and team members. The company’s mission is to create moments of joy and connection through play, and every team member contributes to this vision by embodying values such as taking initiative, thoughtfulness, striving for excellence, and celebrating wins together. Flight Club emphasizes a culture that fosters collaboration, creativity, and respect for resources, making it a rewarding workplace for anyone passionate about hospitality and entertainment.

Compensation for Barbacks starts at $21.30 per hour plus tips, with the opportunity to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits for full-time employees. Additional perks include paid time off, sick leave, holiday pay (varying by state), 401(k) options, medical flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, and a generous employee discount offering 50% off on total bills for the employee and up to five guests. Flight Club is committed to creating a safe, organized, and efficient workspace, ensuring employees have the resources and support necessary to excel. The company also values equal employment opportunity, maintaining a non-discriminatory approach to hiring and workplace practices.
