This role of Barback at HHM Hotels is pivotal within the food and beverage department, specifically in the bar operation segment. In this role, you will greet and acknowledge guests with a warm and professional demeanor while performing barback functions. You will be responsible for retrieving orders from the storeroom, verifying stocked items against requisitions, and ensuring bar supplies are accurate and complete upon delivery. Your duties will include preparing perishable garnishes and fruits by cutting, slicing, and peeling them as needed, as well as mixing and pouring juices in quantities aligned with business forecasts. You will also assist bartenders in maintaining adequate stock levels for essential supplies like stir sticks, napkins, and matches.

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene is crucial; you will ensure the bar area, beer lockers, refrigeration units, and storage spaces comply with health code standards at all times. Ice management tasks such as scooping ice and replenishing containers will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will also manage empty liquor bottle returns and requisitions and carry out routine maintenance of beer taps and kegs.
