The Barback position at Honda Center is a vital role within the Food and Beverage Department, responsible for supporting bartenders in delivering outstanding service to bar patrons during various arena events. This is a part-time, event-based role that offers a competitive starting hourly wage of $22.00. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in food and beverage or customer service roles is an advantage
legal age of 18 years or older
capable of physical tasks including lifting and moving kegs
flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and event days
strong communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
commitment to upholding responsible alcohol service and safety standards

Job Duties

Set the bar up for service and break it down after service
Maintain proper pars within the bar
Run food and maintain the bar
Understand and execute responsible alcohol service
Understand and maintain sanitation and food safety as it relates to the food and beverage industry
Check draft keg levels throughout assigned areas and change as needed
Assist bartender with the preparing of drinks
Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
Be comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally as well as assist guests
Work with counterparts of operation to ensure event standards of service are reached
Support any other Food & Beverage departments as needed
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers
