We are currently looking for an observant and efficient Bar Back to join our dedicated team. The Bar Back plays a crucial supporting role in maintaining the smooth operation of the bar, assisting bartenders, and ensuring customers receive prompt and seamless service. This position requires someone who is attentive to their surroundings, knowledgeable about menu items, and capable of multitasking effectively during busy shifts. Responsibilities include keeping the bar clean according to company standards and local health regulations, prepping garnishes, stocking essential bar supplies such as napkins, straws, glassware, and mixers, as well as other general support duties. Additionally, the Bar Back must be able to work well with diverse personalities, manage potentially tense situations calmly, and maintain a friendly demeanor.

This role demands flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and late nights as it is essential for the bar's continued success during peak hours. Candidates should be enthusiastic team players with a passion for excellent customer service and a willingness to contribute wherever needed. The ideal candidate will help create a safe and welcoming environment by identifying and addressing potential disturbances effectively. Knowledge of drink recipes and efficient organizational skills will also be beneficial in maintaining a well-stocked and orderly bar area conducive to speedy drink preparation.

The Bar Back will also assist with occasional maintenance tasks like checking taps and appliances to ensure they are functioning correctly and participating in special projects as assigned by supervisors and managers.
