The role of a Barback within The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is vital for the seamless operation of fast-paced bars. The Barback is responsible for assisting Bartenders by ensuring that all bar areas remain clean, well-stocked, and organized, which significantly contributes to efficient and friendly service for guests. This role requires high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to work quickly and collaboratively with the team. Barbacks handle tasks such as stocking bar products, setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service, maintaining cleanliness across bar counters and equipment, preparing garnishes, and replenishing snacks for patrons. They also play an essential supporting role to Bartenders, stepping in to assist wherever needed to ensure service flows smoothly. The position demands flexibility in scheduling, as Barbacks will work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and requires physical stamina to manage standing and walking for extended periods along with occasional lifting and bending. With a competitive salary and benefits package, this role not only offers financial rewards but also the chance to join a dynamic, rapidly growing hospitality family that values teamwork and excellence in service.
