Job Description

Puttshack USA is a revolutionary entertainment venue headquartered in Chicago, IL, which opened its doors in 2021. As a unique blend of upscale hospitality and tech-enhanced recreational activity, Puttshack offers an innovative mini golf experience that caters to guests of all ages and interests. Unlike traditional indoor mini golf, Puttshack incorporates advanced technology that transforms the game into an immersive and interactive experience. Alongside the high-tech golf courses, the venue provides world-class food and beverages, including a full bar, served in a stylish and vibrant environment designed to create memorable moments for visitors. The mission of Puttshack is to deliver fun, social, and engaging experiences that bring people together, whether they are friends, families, or colleagues.

The position available is for a Barback, an essential role within the hospitality team at Puttshack. This position supports bartenders by ensuring they have everything needed to serve guests efficiently and with excellence. The Barback plays a vital part in maintaining clean, stocked, and visually appealing bar and dining areas. Responsibilities include clearing bar tops, cleaning glassware, restocking supplies, and assisting with garnishes and bottle refills. It is a dynamic role that requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask calmly in a lively environment, and a strong team-oriented attitude.

Puttshack emphasizes guest satisfaction through exceptional service and fun, creating an environment where employees are motivated to bring enthusiasm every day. The role offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate varying business demands and individual availability, with typical hours ranging from 15 to 30 per week. The venue operates seven days a week, generally from 11 am to 1 am, requiring availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Puttshack values diversity and inclusion, promoting a respectful workplace free from discrimination and harassment. This Barback position offers a competitive wage plus tips and eligibility for benefits such as health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, life insurance, paid time off, and associate discounts including complimentary mini golf and discounts on meals.
