Silver New American Brasserie represents Silver Diner's upscale polished casual restaurant brand located in Bethesda and Washington DC. It offers an elevated dining experience featuring global flavors paired with award-winning craft cocktails. The brand maintains a strong dedication to delivering excellence with a warm, friendly guest atmosphere where employees enjoy a fast-paced but enjoyable working environment. The role being offered is for a Barback who will be an essential part of the front-of-house team. This position requires an energetic, friendly individual who is passionate about hospitality and offers exceptional guest service aligned with Silver’s mission to be the best they can be. Barbacks will support bartenders by maintaining a fully stocked bar with wine, spirits, house-made syrups, and purees while assisting with drink preparation.
This role is available for both full-time and part-time positions with shifts available across first, second, third, rotating, and weekends including all days of the week. Weekend and holiday availability is a mandatory requirement. Candidates must be of legal age to serve alcohol and previous barback experience is preferred but not mandatory. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- support bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked with wine and spirits and house-made syrups and purees
- assist in making drinks at the service bar
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- restock glassware, ice, and other bar supplies
- monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
- provide friendly and efficient service to guests
- comply with health and safety regulations
