The Seasonal Full-Time Bar Back role at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is a vital position within the resort's vibrant bar team. This role supports bartenders in ensuring smooth, efficient beverage service and enhances guests’ overall experience through attentive and proactive assistance. The Bar Back will be responsible for maintaining stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and cocktail supplies, preparing garnishes, refilling ice bins, and keeping the bar area impeccably clean and organized. Job Duties
- assist bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, and cocktail supplies to maintain efficient service during busy periods
- prepare garnishes, refill ice bins, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout shifts
- handle the physical demands of carrying kegs, boxes, and other heavy items safely and efficiently
- use knowledge of beverages to support the team with detailed ingredient information and help enhance the guest experience
- operate the Micros POS system for processing orders and transactions when required
- greet and assist guests by seating them in the absence of the hostess and respond promptly to guest needs or concerns
- collaborate closely with bartenders and service staff to anticipate guest requests and ensure smooth, timely service
- uphold all Four Seasons standards of quality, service, and safety, including adherence to New Mexico alcohol laws and health codes
