Job Description

Globe Nightclub, a premier nightlife destination operated by Tangen Hospitality, is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, energetic crowd, and commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience. As part of the Tangen Hospitality group, Globe Nightclub benefits from a rich heritage of hospitality excellence, offering a dynamic work environment that fosters growth and professional development within the bar and nightclub industry. Located in Spokane, it serves as a hub for nightlife enthusiasts who seek a lively and safe environment to enjoy music, dancing, and socializing.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Barback to join our team. This hourly position offers a pay rate of $17.13 plus tip-out, primarily covering late-night shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting the bartending staff by ensuring that the bar area remains fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout service hours. This role is integral to maintaining the seamless flow of operations in a busy nightclub setting, helping bartenders focus on crafting excellent drinks and engaging positively with guests.

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, dependable, and energetic, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and often loud environment typical of nightlife venues. The Barback’s responsibilities include replenishing supplies such as liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and straws; changing kegs and restocking coolers promptly; and maintaining cleanliness by collecting and washing glassware while managing spills and ensuring safety behind the bar. The Barback will also assist with opening, closing, and deep cleaning duties, take out the trash, and organize storage areas to maintain operational efficiency.

This position demands a strong sense of urgency, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to anticipate the bartenders’ needs swiftly. Successful candidates will enjoy working alongside a lively team, contributing to a high-energy atmosphere that defines Globe Nightclub’s reputation for outstanding nightlife experiences. Additionally, employees receive a 25% discount at all Tangen Hospitality locations, further enhancing the appeal of joining this hospitality group.

Working at Globe Nightclub offers more than just a job; it provides an opportunity to be part of Spokane’s vibrant nightlife scene. Team members are offered valuable experience in bar service and hospitality alongside seasoned professionals, with clear pathways for career advancement within Tangen Hospitality. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry, seeking to develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic workplace.

Globe Nightclub values reliability, punctuality, and enthusiasm in its team members, creating an inclusive and positive work environment. If you are eager to work in a nightlife setting and meet the physical and scheduling requirements, Globe invites you to become a key member of their bar operations team. Experience in hospitality is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
