This multi-level, 15,000-square-foot dining destination is located inside the iconic Sony building in Midtown Manhattan. The new venue showcases three distinct and expertly curated concepts: the second New York location of the Michelin-starred COTE Korean Steakhouse, the all-day multi-bar and dining concept Chimera, and an intimate sushi restaurant led by Michelin-starred Chef Masahiro Yoshitake, Sushi Yoshitake. Designed by the prestigious Rockwell Group with collaboration from Yoshio Itai on the sushi concept, 550 Madison aims to redefine immersive and transportive dining experiences, setting new standards for hospitality and culinary artistry.
The company is seeking dynamic and experienced team members to join their hospitality team for multiple roles across both front and back of house operations. Positions available include Prep Cook, Receiver, Porter, Polisher, Line Cook, Lead Line Cook, Server, Drink Runner, Server Assistant, and Barista. The hiring process includes resume screening followed by open call interviews scheduled during March 2026 at COTE Korean Steakhouse. Selected candidates will receive onboarding and training to prepare them for the grand opening, which promises an energetic and supportive work environment focused on growth, teamwork, and exemplary guest service.
The role overview for barbacks exemplifies the type of dynamic hospitality professionals Gracious Hospitality Management seeks. Barbacks assist Bartenders by ensuring the bar is stocked and maintained, supporting beverage service, delivering food and drinks, managing inventory, and helping maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Candidates will receive comprehensive training to master all aspects of the job and contribute to a seamless and inviting guest experience. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism under pressure, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members are essential traits.
This opportunity offers candidates not just a job, but an entry into a passionate community that values professional development, career advancement, and employee recognition. The pay rate complies with New York State’s transparency law, offering $11.35 per hour, along with a variety of benefits for full-time and part-time employees. These benefits include comprehensive health insurance options, commuter benefits, referral bonuses, employee discounts, and paid time off.
