The Seasonal Full-Time Bar Back role at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is a vital position that supports the bar team in delivering seamless, top-tier beverage service. The Bar Back aids bartenders by maintaining efficient service through consistent restocking of liquor, beer, wine, and cocktail supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Physical stamina is crucial, given the demands of carrying heavy items such as kegs and boxes, along with standing for extended periods.

In this role, the Bar Back also applies knowledge of beverages to support the team and enhance guest experiences. When required, operating the Micros POS system for processing orders and transactions is expected. Collaboration is key, working closely with bartenders and service staff to anticipate guest requests and provide timely, attentive service. The position also occasionally involves guest interaction, including seating guests in the absence of the hostess and responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
