The Barback position at Tom's Watch Bar is critical in supporting both the bartending team and overall bar operations. This role involves maintaining all bar and lounge equipment and supplies at appropriate levels during all hours of business to guarantee seamless service to all guests. The Barback is responsible for setting up the bar areas properly before opening, maintaining a clean and orderly environment during shifts, and assisting bartenders by monitoring the availability of cocktail napkins, glassware, and other supplies. Additional responsibilities include replenishing ice as needed, ensuring bartenders have sufficient supplies, operating glasswashers, and thoroughly cleaning bar areas at the end of shifts, including sweeping, mopping, and managing floor matting.
