The role of a Barback at Sodexo, specifically at the Airport Dimensions-Sapphire Lounge, is a full-time position paying $20 per hour, offering an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company that values purpose and individual growth. As a Barback, you will be the essential support to bartenders, ensuring that the bar area operates smoothly and efficiently. This includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, preparing fresh garnishes for drinks following the first-in, first-out method to ensure freshness and quality, and restocking supplies promptly to avoid service delays. You will be responsible for collecting empty glasses, washing glassware to keep an adequate supply available for customers, and ensuring that all bar tools and stations are in top condition.

This position demands physical stamina as it involves significant walking, standing for extended periods (which may exceed eight hours), and the ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. Your proactive approach in anticipating replenishment needs and maintaining health code standards in cleanliness across beer lockers, refrigeration, and storage areas contributes directly to the smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
