The Barback position at SodexoMagic, based at the American Express Lounge in Atlanta (ATL), is a full-time role offering a competitive pay rate of $15.00 per hour. This role is ideal for individuals interested in supporting the operations of a busy bar environment and working in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. The Barback works closely with bartenders to ensure seamless service and a clean and organized bar area. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the bar, replenishing supplies, preparing garnishes using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method, cleaning glassware, and maintaining compliance with health code standards. The role demands physical stamina as it involves significant walking, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift and move heavy items, sometimes above 35 pounds.

This position requires flexibility regarding shifts as it demands open availability, including the ability to work any shift as needed, which will be detailed further during the interview. The Barback role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and smooth operation of the bar, directly impacting customer satisfaction.
