In this context, Puttshack is seeking to expand its team of hospitality associates with a focus on the Barback position. This role is essential to supporting the bartenders and ensuring guests receive seamless, high-quality service. The Barback is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and assisting bartenders with various preparatory and maintenance tasks required for efficient bar operation. They play a critical part in maintaining the atmosphere and functionality of the bar and dining areas, contributing directly to the overall guest satisfaction. This position demands a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Working hours vary between 15 and 30 hours weekly to accommodate business needs and individual availability, including shifts that span from late mornings to after midnight. Job Requirements
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Prior experience in hospitality or related field
- General knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and various spirits
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must obtain any certifications required per local or state guidelines
- Ability to safely and effectively communicate
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in busy environment
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in confined crowded space with high noise and varying temperature levels

Job Duties
- Bring your 'A' game each and every day
- Maintain a pace sufficient to keep up with different levels of guest visits
- Clean and stock glassware and other items such as napkins, straws, etc. around the bar area
- Assist bartenders with refilling bottles, prepping garnishes, etc.
- Clean spills and/or broken glasses and keep areas tidy, complying with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
- Take direction and be a team player
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook
- Perform other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side work, opening, and closing duties
