We are currently seeking a friendly and dependable Bar Back to join our team. This is a seasonal, hourly, non-exempt position with a pay rate of $11.00 per hour. The Bar Back plays a critical supporting role to our bartenders, helping to maintain the flow and efficiency of the bar and lounge area within our hotels. As a key member of the hospitality team, the Bar Back ensures that guests enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with excellent service from start to finish.

The Bar Back will assist bartenders with setup, restocking supplies, and closing procedures while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar and lounge. They will also serve food and beverages to guests when needed and adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety. The role requires a proactive and cheerful attitude, with a strong focus on attentive customer service. The Bar Back should be comfortable working flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and be able to stand for extended periods, typically 8-10 hours. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-volume, fast-paced food and beverage environments and enjoy working collaboratively within a team.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in high-volume food and beverage environment
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

  • hotel experience preferred
