Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and complete routine duties efficiently
  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions including product use labels
  • Ability to complete monetary transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Ability to apply common sense to policy and guest interactions
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal variation
  • Effective communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, carry, pull and push objects up to 10 pounds independently or with help
  • Ability to stand for extended periods over 5 hours per shift
  • Ability to work under moderate to extreme stress
  • Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Compliance with uniform standards
  • Regular attendance and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Maintain high knowledge of company products and events
  • Communicate effectively with guests about products and events
  • Keep the bar, counters, glassware, and utensils clean
  • Stock the bar initially and maintain stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes, glassware, utensils, cocktail napkins, garnishes, and condiments
  • Document inventory use, spills, and waste
  • Stock refrigerating units and change empty beer kegs
  • Monitor cooler temperatures and report deficiencies to management
  • Maintain adequate ice supply at all bars
  • Empty and clean trash cans regularly
  • Clean and stock the supply room
  • Notify management of low inventory and recommend purchases
  • Assist bartenders with cleaning and bar breakdown at shift end
  • Complete opening, running, and closing duties
  • Train new employees in accordance with company standards
  • Follow proper lifting and carrying techniques
  • Perform other organizational duties as assigned
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuing education and training
  • Cooperate with co-workers and management for organizational effectiveness
  • Attend meetings and training sessions
  • Comply with uniform standards
  • Maintain regular availability, attendance, and punctuality
