The position available at The Roof is a part-time, non-management role within the food and beverage category, offering an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $20.75 and eligibility for tips. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer service that the EDITION brand upholds. Employees are expected to perform opening and closing duties, including organizing provisions and instruments, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises at the end of shifts. Maintaining the bar and work areas, restocking supplies like ice, glassware, and paper products, and ensuring a spotless environment are critical to this role.
In addition to these operational tasks, the role involves strict adherence to company safety policies and procedures, reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards, and completing necessary safety training and certifications. The physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods, handling objects up to 50 pounds, and navigating various surfaces and stairways.
Communication skills are important, as team members greet guests according to company standards, communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and guests, and answer telephone calls appropriately. This position offers individuals the opportunity to work in an inspiring environment where service is heartfelt and dynamic, providing a theatrical, memorable experience for all guests.
