Job Description

The Casino is a dynamic and fast-paced entertainment establishment known for its vibrant atmosphere and commitment to providing exceptional experiences for its guests. As a well-established casino, it combines the excitement of gaming with high-quality dining and beverage services, making it a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The casino prides itself on upholding its Mission, Vision, and Values, ensuring that every employee contributes to a respectful, safe, and customer-focused environment. With a focus on community engagement and employee development, the casino offers a supportive workplace where teamwork and professionalism are highly valued.

The role of Barback within this esteemed casino is essential for maintaining smooth and efficient bar operations. This position supports bartenders by stocking liquor, beer, mixers, ice, and other necessary supplies while ensuring that all bar areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. The barback plays a critical role in guest satisfaction by assisting with glassware, kegs, trash removal, and providing general support to cocktail servers and bartenders. The job demands physical stamina, as it involves lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds, handling kegs weighing approximately 200 pounds, and moving carts over 400 pounds throughout the shift. Due to the nature of the work environment, which includes varying noise levels, crowds, and smoke, candidates must be comfortable working in a lively and sometimes challenging atmosphere.

This full-time position requires working nights, weekends, and holidays and involves a significant amount of multitasking and problem-solving to keep the bar operations running smoothly. Prior bar or casino experience is preferred but not mandatory, as the casino provides on-the-job training to develop the necessary skills. To be eligible, candidates must meet all gaming, alcohol, and tribal employment requirements, including securing and maintaining a valid State or Tribal Gaming License. The casino values employees who demonstrate strong guest service skills, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards.

Joining the casino as a barback offers the opportunity to grow within a reputable hospitality environment that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. Employees benefit from working in a dynamic setting with a strong organizational culture that promotes continuous learning and career advancement.
