Ballpark Village is the premier entertainment destination located in downtown St. Louis, just north of Busch Stadium. Live! at Ballpark Village is a two-level, 20,000 square-foot entertainment plaza designed to offer one of the best sports-viewing experiences in the country. The Barback position at Live! is essential to the seamless operation of the bar and overall guest experience. This role requires an energetic, outgoing, and fun individual who maintains professionalism amidst a fast-paced, high-volume entertainment atmosphere. Responsibilities include basic bar prep work such as refilling ice bins, restocking beverages, changing kegs, and managing garnishes. The Barback plays a crucial role in keeping the bar area clean, organized, and efficient by clearing spills, emptying trash, and cleaning bar areas promptly. Providing polite and courteous customer service, as well as effective communication with guests and team members, is fundamental to success in this role.

This position offers a flexible schedule with day and evening shifts available, making it suitable for those seeking part-time or full-time employment. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $30.00 per hour on a tipped basis, reflecting the performance and dedication of the individual. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

food service experience with general knowledge of bar/nightclub operations
must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
must be at least age 18 or older, depending on state regulations
communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, cooks, wait staff, and supervisors
alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.

Job Duties
