We are currently seeking a dedicated Barback to join our enthusiastic team. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting the bartenders and serving staff by maintaining the bar area and ensuring it is continuously stocked and clean. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, a dedication to cleanliness and organization, and a friendly demeanor to assist guests effortlessly. The role is fundamental to the smooth operation of the bar and directly impacts guest satisfaction and overall service quality.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing bar recipes according to brand specifications, ensuring that frozen mugs are rotated properly to meet standards, and adhering to detailed cleaning protocols to prevent the buildup of debris on equipment such as soccer balls, bases, spouts, magnets, and chill sticks used for balones. You will actively assist bartenders by supporting their work functions, ensuring that the flow of service to guests and cocktail servers remains seamless and efficient.

Maintaining cleanliness on the floors, glassware removal, and table clearing outside of server presence will also be part of your daily duties. Strict adherence to health department standards will guide your maintenance of a sanitized work environment. You will oversee glass washer operations, check chemical mixtures, and maintain the volume used to guarantee hygiene and safety.

Inventory management is a significant aspect of the Barback role. You will be tasked with maintaining par stock levels, ordering beer, wine, champagne, liquor, and perishables as required at the start of each shift. Receiving deliveries, stocking inventory according to specifications, cutting fruit to standard sizes, and preparing condiment caddies are also important responsibilities that support bartenders and servers alike.

Throughout your shift, you will collect trash from all bar outlets, maintain areas behind trash containers, handle bar towels by distributing clean ones and collecting used towels for proper disposal, and organize storage areas, pump rooms, and coolers. Routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors in storage and pump rooms, soaking and cleaning soda bag-in-box hoses and nozzles, and rotating draught beer kegs will also fall under your purview.

Completing all assigned and required training is essential to staying current with operational standards and safety protocols. A key aspect of your role involves ensuring customer satisfaction by being approachable, smiling, and promptly addressing any questions guests might have.
