Job Description
Our establishment is an exciting new, design-forward restaurant located inside the New Museum on the Bowery in New York City. This venue stands out as a unique fusion of art and culinary culture, offering guests an immersive dining experience rooted deeply in sustainability, seasonal cooking, and an exceptional beverage program. As the first and only restaurant designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural firm OMA, we pride ourselves on creating a space that not only serves innovative cuisine and beverages but also celebrates artistic expression and creativity. Our team is passionate about creating genuine hospitality experiences where every guest feels welcomed, appreciated, and cared for in an environment that is as visually stunning as it is gastronomically remarkable.
As a part of our team, you will have the distinct opportunity to work at the intersection of art and culinary culture. This role involves collaborating closely with artists, curating late-night bar programming, and actively participating in brand and museum events. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable visit marked by polished, warm service in a high-volume, high-touch setting. You will be expected to embody the core values of our restaurant — hospitality, inclusivity, and professionalism — while advancing your passion for food, wine, and culture. This environment encourages team collaboration, attention to detail, and a relentless commitment to delivering exceptional service. The role offers a full schedule, including nights and weekends, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry and the museum's event calendar. If you are someone who thrives under pressure, values clear communication, and enjoys engaging with a diverse clientele, this is the perfect position for you to grow your career in a creative and supportive restaurant setting.
