The Barback position at Flight Club is an essential role supporting bartenders to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. This role can be part-time or full-time reporting to the Floor Manager and is classified under non-exempt status. Barbacks actively assist bartenders by managing bar stock, preparing garnishes, cleaning glassware, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the bar area. The job involves multitasking and anticipating the needs of bartenders to help deliver exceptional service consistently.

  • Current food handlers and alcohol certification maintained through employment
  • Available to work various shift times and days including weekends and holidays
  • Able to stand and or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift over 50 plus lbs if necessary
  • Authorized to legally work in the US

Job Duties

  • Report for all scheduled shifts punctually in proper attire and to proper health and hygiene standards
  • Maintain proper par levels if necessary make fresh syrups and house made mixes
  • Efficiently change kegs cut fruit and restock depleted product quickly
  • Ensure glassware is cleaned trash is emptied and pre bussing is maintained
  • Assist in maintaining the guest eye view behind the bar
  • Complete opening closing and running duties as assigned each shift
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of food beverage and company procedures to standard
  • Build a rapport with guests be active in assisting and communicating requests
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings as required per department
  • Comply with the company rules and procedures along with any reasonable requests made from management during a shift
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines maintaining to proper procedures and report to management any hazardous situation or incident
