Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Six months to one year previous serving experience preferred
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverage preparation and service
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Manual dexterity of hands
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Ability to understand written instructions
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to work in temperature ranges from normal to refrigerated
  • Must obtain required government licenses or certificates such as Health Card Permit or Liquor Service Permit
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Must adhere to all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
  • Ability to perform duties involving standing, bending, stooping, and lifting
  • Must be physically capable of frequent walking and standing
  • Must be able to use personal protective equipment as required

  • Physical ability to grasp, bend, lift, carry up to 75 pounds, and move goods using carts
  • Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
  • Willingness to obtain necessary licenses and certifications

Job Duties

  • Retrieve orders from storeroom and verify stock against requisition with storeroom personnel and bartenders
  • Cut, slice, and peel perishable garnishes and fruits
  • mix and pour juices based on projected business
  • store perishable items appropriately
  • Check and assist bartenders in maintaining adequate supplies such as stir sticks, napkins, and matches
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, beer lockers, refrigeration, and storage to comply with health codes
  • Scoop ice from bins and replenish ice containers for service areas
  • Transport and replace taps on beer kegs and perform routine maintenance
  • Attend mandatory meetings
  • Perform general cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Complete additional duties assigned by supervisor such as cleaning guest spills
  • Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations concerning alcohol service
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of service standards
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
