Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a bar back is preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- capability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards
- physical ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
- willingness to adhere to strict uniform and grooming standards
- willingness to complete required trainings and certifications
Job Qualifications
- prior experience as a bar back is preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- understanding of cleaning and sanitization protocols
- capability to follow simple instructions and navigate standardized situations
- attendance at orientation and acceptance of policies and procedures
- completion of training program before working unsupervised
- required training in compliance with local and state regulations such as food and alcohol service certifications
Job Duties
- adhere to uniform standards
- follow policies and procedures to maintain a clean and sanitized bar
- keep stations and equipment organized and clean
- consistently uphold safety and sanitation standards
- work effectively as a team member
- utilize tablets or computers for training
- thrive in a fast-paced environment
- assist with opening and closing duties - restocking, cleaning, mopping, etc
- ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
- change kegs, check taps and appliances for proper functionality
