The Bar Support Staff role at Twin Peaks is crucial to maintaining the smooth operation and cleanliness of the bar environment within each location. As a member of the bar support team, individuals are responsible for ensuring the bar station is maintained at high standards of hygiene and organization, supporting the bartending staff, popularly known as the 'Twin Peaks Girls.' This role demands a combination of discipline, attention to detail, physical stamina, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Bar Support Staff take pride in supporting the unique beverage program, adhering strictly to safety and sanitation guidelines, and maintaining a presentable and consistent uniform and appearance in line with Twin Peaks’ brand image.

Responsibilities include restocking and organizing bar supplies, cleaning and sanitizing all areas associated with the bar, changing kegs, checking system functionality, and assisting in opening and closing duties such as mopping and cleaning. Staff must be reliable, proactive, and capable of working under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer service indirectly through their support duties. The position also emphasizes learning and development through training modules accessed via tablets or computers, ensuring employees are well-versed in operational procedures and compliance with local laws regarding food and alcohol service.

Uniform and appearance are highly regulated, with specific guidelines on attire, grooming, and accessories to ensure a cohesive and professional look reflective of the Twin Peaks brand. This includes wearing a clean black Twin Peaks hat, kitchen shirt, maintaining clean-shaven or well-groomed beards, and following strict restrictions on personal items such as jewelry or earbuds while on duty. Physical demands require employees to be capable of standing for long periods, handling moderate lifting, seeing clearly at close range, and effectively communicating in English.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a bar back is preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • capability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards
  • physical ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
  • willingness to adhere to strict uniform and grooming standards
  • willingness to complete required trainings and certifications

Job Qualifications
