This particular role is centered on managing the food and beverage operations within one of Concord Hospitality's full-service hotels. The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee multiple outlets including restaurants, lounges, banquet services, kitchens, and sanitation teams. This leadership position involves directing operational strategies and efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality food and beverage experiences that align with company standards and guest expectations. The manager will supervise, train, and support associates in food preparation, presentation, sanitation, and service, while also handling scheduling, evaluations, and disciplinary procedures as necessary. Emphasis is placed on maintaining open communication channels between management and staff to foster a cooperative and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities include ensuring that all food served meets quality standards and is prepared according to established recipes, resolving operational issues promptly, and supporting food service operations throughout the hotel as needed. Active participation in weekly staff, sales, and food and beverage meetings, along with monthly inventory assessments, are also essential components of the role. Effective knowledge of beverage cost controls, sequence of service, and familiarity with the Micros system are recommended to ensure smooth operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory experience in food and beverage management
  • knowledge of beverage cost controls and sequence of service
  • ability to use Micros system preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Direct the operational efforts and strategies of all food and beverage outlets
  • supervise restaurant, lounge, banquet, kitchen, utility, and sanitation associates
  • train associates on food preparation, seasoning, plate presentation, sanitation, and service standards
  • assist with scheduling, evaluating, and guiding associates
  • maintain open communication between management and staff
  • administer disciplinary actions when necessary
  • ensure associates have the tools and equipment needed to perform their jobs
  • take immediate action to resolve operational issues in the kitchen or restaurant
  • participate in weekly staff, sales, and food & beverage meetings, as well as monthly inventory
  • ensure all food served meets quality standards and is prepared according to recipes
  • support food service operations across the hotel as needed
