The Food and Beverage Manager role at Concord Hospitality plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operational efforts and strategies of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel properties. This position is integral to ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, sanitation, service, and guest satisfaction. The role involves direct supervision of associates across various departments, including the restaurant, lounge, banquet services, kitchen, utility, and sanitation teams. A key responsibility is to train associates on food preparation techniques, seasoning, plate presentation, sanitation protocols, and service standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all dining experiences.

Additionally, the Food and Beverage Manager assists with scheduling, evaluates staff performance, and provides guidance to team members to foster a productive and positive work environment. The manager ensures that associates have all the necessary tools and equipment needed to perform their jobs efficiently and takes immediate action to resolve any operational issues in the kitchen or restaurant to maintain smooth service flow.

Participation in regular meetings such as weekly staff meetings, sales reviews, food and beverage discussions, and monthly inventory checks is crucial for this role. The manager also supports food service operations throughout the hotel as needed, ensuring all food served meets established quality standards and adheres to prescribed recipes. This position demands a hands-on leadership style coupled with a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Overall, this role is suited for experienced supervisors who have a background in full-service restaurant management and are knowledgeable about beverage cost controls and sequence of service. Experience with Micros systems is preferred, and those who thrive as leaders with excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to fostering a supportive and efficient team environment will find this position very rewarding at Concord Hospitality.
