With a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests, Drury Hotels has established itself as a leader in the hotel industry across the United States. Committed to fostering a supportive and engaging work environment, the company values its employees as much as its guests, creating a culture where team members feel appreciated and have opportunities to grow and succeed.
Located at 4109 Parkway Centre Drive in Grove City, Ohio, this property is part of the Drury Hotels family, offering the ideal place for those who want to belong and make a difference. The company emphasizes a balance between work and life, ensuring that team members are rewarded not only with competitive salaries but also with a comprehensive plan of benefits and career advancement opportunities.
The role available at Drury Hotels is that of a Bartender with additional responsibilities closely tied to the smooth operation of the hotel’s Kitchen+Bar. The position operates under general supervision and requires someone who can open and close the bar area while maintaining a clean, organized workspace that meets company standards. The bartender acts as an ambassador of hospitality, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience through the preparation and serving of beverages and the provision of friendly and professional service.
This role is crucial in upholding the Drury culture of integrity, service, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have not only the necessary bartending skills but also the ability to assist in food preparation and cocktail service as required. Flexibility to perform multiple roles such as prep cook or cocktail server when needed is essential. Knowledge about the hotel, local area, and events is also important, as it enhances the ability to engage with guests and provide valuable information.
Drury Hotels is proud to offer more than just a job. Employees can expect quarterly bonus incentives up to $3,200 annually, flexible scheduling to support work-life balance, paid time off, hotel discounts, and free room nights. There is a strong focus on career growth through mentorship, cross-training, development plans, and management training, with over 200 internal promotions this year demonstrating the company’s investment in its people.
In addition, the company offers comprehensive health and well-being benefits including medical, dental, vision, prescription, life, disability insurance, and access to the Team Member Assistance Program. Retirement planning is supported with a company-matched 401(k). Recognition as one of Newsweek's America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025 underscores the company’s commitment to creating a rewarding work environment.
This immediate hiring opportunity invites bartenders who are 21 years or older and have at least one year of bartending experience, with a preference for candidates who also have supervisory experience. Candidates should possess strong communication skills in English, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service skills. The ability to handle money accurately, operate point-of-sale systems and kitchen equipment, and maintain a safe and tidy workspace are all essential parts of the job.
Whether you are looking to start or continue your hospitality career, Drury Hotels offers a place where you belong, with growth, support, and rewards that recognize your contributions every day.
