We are currently seeking a Bar Supervisor to become an integral part of our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to a memorable guest experience. The Bar Supervisor will assist with daily bar operations including preparing and serving drinks, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines. This position requires an individual who can lead by example, manage staff productivity effectively, and uphold the bar’s budget constraints. The role offers an hourly wage ranging from USD 26.00 to USD 28.00, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required. Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in a related position
- Advanced knowledge of food and beverage management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry weights of 20 to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend as needed
- Ability to stand and move around continuously during shifts
- Willingness to climb stairs
- Ability to follow all cash handling procedures correctly
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- One to two years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of food and beverage management principles and practices
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Strong comprehension and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret instructions from superiors
- Excellent vision for seating guests and reading floor plans and schedules
Job Duties
- Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
- Ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges
- Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
- Know and comply with state liquor laws
- Ensure established pars are maintained
- Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules
- Collaborate with restaurant leadership on drink recipes and product specifications
- Assist in taking inventories
- Ensure that all Bar equipment is in good working order
- Assist in the induction of new staff
- Follow all cash handling procedures and ensure all staff are following them correctly
