Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in bartending or relevant hospitality roles preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service laws and practices
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic math proficiency
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- willingness to comply with health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a bar or restaurant environment preferred
- knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and recipes, including cocktails, wines, and beers
- strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and provide personalized service
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and transactions
- basic math skills for handling cash and making change
- willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills preferred
- certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification) may be required depending on local regulations
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, friendly service at the bar
- accurately take drink and occasionally food orders
- mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- monitor alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary per company policy
- keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked during and after shifts
- wash and properly store glassware and bar tools
- process payments, issue receipts, and balance the till at end of shift
- restock beer, spirits, garnishes, and other bar essentials
- follow all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures
- communicate effectively with floor staff, kitchen staff, and management
- handle customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- assist with closing duties, including cleaning and securing the bar
