As a full-service seasonal resort, Migis Lodge provides a unique combination of comfortable accommodations, engaging activities such as disc golf, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking, and excellent food and beverage options. The lodge prides itself on fostering a friendly work environment where employees can grow professionally and personally while enjoying the beauty and activities available at the lake throughout the summer months. Working at Migis Lodge not only means being part of a reputable hospitality team but also offers the opportunity to build lifelong friendships with colleagues and guests from around the United States and the world.
The Bar Server position at Migis Lodge is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their hospitality skills within the seasonal resort industry. This role involves supporting the bartender and the Food & Beverage team to ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service during evening shifts, typically from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Seasonal employment is offered from May through October 2026, with flexible scheduling options that include both part-time and full-time roles requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week and at least 4 nights worked weekly. The position provides a competitive hourly wage of $16.50 to $17.50 based on experience plus an additional 7% incentive payment on total wages. Importantly, this role is not a tipped position.
As a Bar Server, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas, stocking inventory, assisting guests with beverage inquiries, and collaborating closely with other restaurant staff to deliver superior food and beverage service. This position does not require prior experience as training is provided, making it an excellent entry point for those eager to learn the fundamentals of bartending and service in a dynamic resort environment. The Bar Server role at Migis Lodge promotes the development of vital skills such as communication, teamwork, patience, and customer service, which are transferable to future hospitality or customer-oriented roles.
