Job Description
Bass Road Sports and Entertainment is a dynamic and thriving company dedicated to providing exceptional entertainment experiences at Fort Wayne FC home matches and various stadium events. Specializing in sports and entertainment, the company manages a vibrant stadium environment that hosts regular events from May through October, primarily on Saturday evenings with occasional Wednesday games, along with other special events throughout the year. The atmosphere is energetic, fast-paced, and focused on delivering an unparalleled experience to fans and guests through superb service and well-organized event management. Bass Road Sports and Entertainment prides itself on creating a welcoming environment where employees and guests alike can enjoy a memorable and enjoyable time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
We are currently seeking dedicated Bar Servers who will play a crucial role in curating the guests' experience by preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in this fast-moving stadium setting. This position combines hands-on beverage service with a commitment to responsible alcohol management and guest engagement. As a Bar Server, your responsibilities will include crafting drinks consistent with established recipes and portion guidelines while ensuring compliance with all Indiana alcohol service laws and stadium policies. Accuracy in operating POS systems and adherence to cash handling procedures are vital components of this role, ensuring financial integrity throughout the event.
Working closely with Bar Leads, Supervisors, and Managers, Bar Servers must maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary bar area to support a smooth service flow and a positive guest experience. You will be tasked with restocking supplies continuously and handling customer interactions professionally and courteously. This role demands an energetic individual who excels in a high-volume, high-energy environment, capable of maintaining composure while working efficiently. Although prior bartending experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, allowing individuals with a passion for service and a strong work ethic to thrive.
The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules to match the stadium's operational calendar. Bar Servers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Indiana alcohol server permit before starting their shifts. Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with alcohol compliance, cash handling, and excellent guest service. The Bar Server position offers an opportunity to contribute to a lively, team-oriented environment while gaining valuable experience in food and beverage service within the sports entertainment industry.
If you are someone who enjoys engaging with guests, working as part of a team, and delivering exceptional service in an energetic environment, this role provides a rewarding and fun career path. You will be representing the stadium's standards, ensuring guests enjoy safe and memorable events while supporting the overall success of Fort Wayne FC matches and other stadium activities. This position requires the physical ability to stand for long periods, handle moderate lifting, and work efficiently under varied temperatures and sometimes noisy conditions inherent to large-scale sporting events. In exchange, you will become a vital member of a specialized team dedicated to creating outstanding guest experiences and operational excellence at a premier regional entertainment venue.
