The Production Crew, a crucial part of the Alamo Drafthouse operation, forms the heartbeat of the theater experience. This role, including service bartenders, primarily involves preparing drinks according to precise recipes while maintaining the Alamo Drafthouse standards of service, presentation, and prompt delivery. The position offers competitive pay ranging between $19.29 and $22.29 per hour and involves both part-time and full-time employment opportunities. Members of the production bar crew are responsible for every aspect of bar station setup, preparation, and maintenance, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment adhering to stringent health and safety kitchen standards.

Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum legal age requirement of 21 years to serve or handle alcohol
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly during entire shift
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Availability to work nights weekends and holidays minimum 3 days a week with at least one weekend day
  • Ability to operate safely in a busy and sometimes loud environment
  • Up-to-date on local beverage compliance regulations safety courses and assigned trainings
  • Reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a high volume restaurant environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen or bar environment
  • Demonstrated beverage knowledge including state required alcohol service training
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols related to beverage service
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Primarily serves as the BOH bartender preparing guest drink orders in accordance with recipes and specs
  • Responsible for cleaning organization and general maintenance of all assigned equipment including daily sidework and deep cleaning tasks
  • Prepares guest beverage tickets focusing on safety quality accuracy and efficiency
  • Restocks supplies completes prep and side work assists with additional operational tasks for efficient service
  • Supports delivery and organization of food and beverage orders
  • Upholds standards of behavior as per company core values and operational guidelines
  • Ensures beverage safety and compliance with health standards including allergy and cross-contamination protocols
  • Utilizes proper equipment for beverage preparation such as jiggers measuring tools and scales
  • Adheres to cleaning prep and stocking schedules to control product waste and maintain quality
  • Communicates service bar needs concerns and urgent matters with teammates and managers
  • Maintains a positive respectful workplace
  • Follows all handwashing and hygiene practices
