The Alamo Production Crew, including service bartenders, plays a crucial role in the theater's operations. As a core member of the Alamo Service Bar team, the role primarily involves preparing drinks according to precise recipes while maintaining the company's standards for service and presentation, including prompt delivery. Crew members are responsible for daily station setup, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and overall bar organization. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum legal age requirement of 21 years to serve or handle alcohol
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days a week, including one weekend day)
  • Ability to operate in a busy and sometimes loud environment
  • Stays up-to-date on local beverage compliance regulations and safety courses
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to climb stairs

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in high volume restaurant environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen/bar environment
  • Demonstrates applicable beverage knowledge including state-required alcohol service training

Job Duties

  • Primarily serves as the BOH bartender, preparing guest drink orders according to recipes and specs
  • Responsible for cleaning, organization, and general maintenance of all equipment
  • Prepares guest beverage tickets focusing on safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Restocks supplies, completes prep and side work, and assists with operational tasks
  • Supports delivery and organization of food and beverage orders
  • Upholds company core values and operational guidelines
  • Ensures beverage safety and compliance with health standards
  • Utilizes proper equipment for beverage preparation
  • Adheres to cleaning, prep, and stocking schedules
  • Communicates service bar needs and concerns
  • Maintains a positive, respectful workplace
  • Follows all handwashing and hygiene practices
