Job Requirements
- Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift and work inside assigned bar areas in the venue
- Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations
- The casino environment is hectic fast-paced and often crowded and noisy
- May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke excessive noise and constant exposure to general public
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English specific to position duties and responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred
- Must have knowledge of beverages glassware and garnishes
Job Duties
- Cleans bar area including bar tops sinks glasses refrigerators coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies
- Ensures bar is set properly
- Ensures all soda gun products fruit garnishes and mixes meets service standards
- Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift
- Prepares all mixes and garnishes
- Acknowledges greets and converses with customers who approach the bar
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
