The role of the Bar Porter at Hard Rock International is essential to maintaining the high standards of customer service and operational efficiency expected at the venue's bars. As a Bar Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring that the bar area is impeccably clean, well-stocked, and organized to support bartenders and deliver a seamless service experience to guests. This role demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes hectic casino environment. The Bar Porter will be key in preparing mixes and garnishes, ensuring all products meet quality and service standards, and engaging with customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. This position requires working varied shifts including weekends and holidays, and involves standing or walking for extended periods. It also demands adaptability and excellent multitasking skills to handle the unique challenges of a busy nightlife and casino setting. Job Requirements

Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required
Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift and work inside assigned bar areas in the venue
Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations
The casino environment is hectic fast-paced and often crowded and noisy
May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke excessive noise and constant exposure to general public
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English specific to position duties and responsibilities

Job Qualifications

A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred
Must have knowledge of beverages glassware and garnishes

Job Duties

Cleans bar area including bar tops sinks glasses refrigerators coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies
Ensures bar is set properly
Ensures all soda gun products fruit garnishes and mixes meets service standards
Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift
Prepares all mixes and garnishes
Acknowledges greets and converses with customers who approach the bar
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
