The full-time Bar Porter position within the Food & Beverage department is a crucial role that supports the smooth operation of the bar and beverage services throughout the property. The primary responsibility of the Bar Porter is to ensure that all bar areas remain clean, organized, and inviting for guests by efficiently completing tasks such as trash removal and product delivery. This role also supports the VIP Lounge by maintaining cleanliness and transporting food, ensuring a high level of service in this exclusive area. The Bar Porter acts as a frontline ambassador, interacting with both internal and external guests to uphold Wind Creek’s premium service standards.

Working at Wind Creek Bethlehem as a Bar Porter requires a positive, upbeat communication style, a keen eye for detail, and the physical stamina to handle demanding tasks like lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age
  • proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • arrive for shift on time and in proper uniform
  • interacts with internal and external guests to make sure that all bar areas are clean, presentable and inviting
  • responsible for trash removal from bars and restaurants in a timely manner without impacting guest experience
  • make deliveries of product to bars and lounges
  • responsible for cleanliness of the food area in VIP Lounge
  • transport food to and from VIP Lounge
  • ensure bar areas comply with Pennsylvania Health Codes and Wind Creek Standards
  • provide accurate directions and information for guest inquiries
  • properly use equipment, tools or systems to complete assigned tasks
  • develop working knowledge of PGCB rules, regulations and internal controls
  • complete all paperwork in accordance with PGCB and company standards
  • understand and adhere to Wind Creek’s Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan
  • provide superior customer service
  • adhere to departmental and property policies
  • perform other related duties as assigned
