Drawing inspiration from the energy and style of 1960s London, particularly the iconic Carnaby Street, this gastropub perfectly blends the elegance of fine dining with a lively and dynamic atmosphere. Created by the reputable team behind Earl of Sandwich and world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, The Carnaby delivers an exceptional dining experience that combines culinary excellence with top-tier service. This full-time position offers a competitive salary beginning at $70,000 per year and involves overseeing all aspects of bar operations. As Bar Manager, the individual will lead the bar team by example, ensuring the highest quality of service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere throughout the bar. A key responsibility is the management of beverage programs, including cocktails, beer, wine, and other offerings, driving both guest satisfaction and beverage profitability.

The Bar Manager will be instrumental in training and developing the bar staff, sharing expertise on responsible alcohol service, and creating an engaging and knowledgeable environment. In addition to managing daily operations and inventory control, the Bar Manager will actively participate in beverage program development, including menu planning, hosting tastings, collaborating with suppliers, and organizing special events. Compliance with all health, safety, and legal requirements is a critical aspect of the position, ensuring the venue remains a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and staff.

Ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years of experience in restaurant or bar management within high-volume settings, a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, and proficiency in inventory and cost control. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to remain composed under pressure are essential traits. The Bar Manager must be flexible regarding work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the busy nature of hospitality services.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading brand in the culinary world and contribute to a distinctive dining experience that combines the best of British culture and modern hospitality standards. If you are passionate about elevating guest experiences, leading dynamic teams, and thriving in a fast-paced environment, this role promises growth and fulfillment.
