The role of Event Manager (Bar Operations) is a critical position within Greenawalt Hospitality, responsible for overseeing all facets of bar operations at designated venues. As an Event Manager, you will be the pivotal point of contact for bar operations, responsible for coordinating the setup and execution of beverage services while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

In this role, you will manage bar staffing and service, ensuring that the bars are always fully prepared and stocked for each event. You will supervise inventory levels, order supplies, and implement tracking processes to minimize waste and loss. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
minimum 3 years of experience in bar management event management or a related hospitality role
certification in responsible alcohol service such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
strong leadership and organizational skills
excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
proficiency with point of sale systems and inventory management software
ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
reliable transportation to and from event venues

Job Qualifications

3+ years of experience in bar management event management or hospitality
certification in responsible alcohol service e.g. tips servsafe alcohol
strong leadership and team management skills
excellent customer service and communication abilities
experience with pos systems and inventory management tools
knowledge of beverages bar operations and mixology
ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties
