Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years of experience in bar management event management or a related hospitality role
- certification in responsible alcohol service such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- proficiency with point of sale systems and inventory management software
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- reliable transportation to and from event venues
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in bar management event management or hospitality
- certification in responsible alcohol service e.g. tips servsafe alcohol
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent customer service and communication abilities
- experience with pos systems and inventory management tools
- knowledge of beverages bar operations and mixology
- ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- manage all aspects of bar operations at the assigned venue including staffing and service execution
- ensure bars are properly stocked prepared and set up for each event
- maintain high standards of beverage quality consistency and presentation
- monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- implement inventory tracking processes to reduce waste and prevent loss
- manage cash handling procedures and reconcile sales accurately
- prepare sales reports and support basic budgeting efforts
- ensure adherence to all local and state alcohol service laws and regulations
- enforce company policies health standards and safety procedures
- maintain a safe and compliant working environment at all times
- engage with clients to understand event needs and service expectations
- address guest inquiries and resolve service-related issues professionally
- collaborate with event coordinators to align bar service with event goals
- participate in planning meetings as needed
- support additional events when not scheduled at the primary venue
- adapt to varying event types locations and service requirements
- uphold company standards for service professionalism and execution
- ensure team members follow proper procedures and expectations
- promote accountability organization and attention to detail
