Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of experience in bar management event management or a related hospitality role
  • certification in responsible alcohol service such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • proficiency with point of sale systems and inventory management software
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
  • reliable transportation to and from event venues

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in bar management event management or hospitality
  • certification in responsible alcohol service e.g. tips servsafe alcohol
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • experience with pos systems and inventory management tools
  • knowledge of beverages bar operations and mixology
  • ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • manage all aspects of bar operations at the assigned venue including staffing and service execution
  • ensure bars are properly stocked prepared and set up for each event
  • maintain high standards of beverage quality consistency and presentation
  • monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • implement inventory tracking processes to reduce waste and prevent loss
  • manage cash handling procedures and reconcile sales accurately
  • prepare sales reports and support basic budgeting efforts
  • ensure adherence to all local and state alcohol service laws and regulations
  • enforce company policies health standards and safety procedures
  • maintain a safe and compliant working environment at all times
  • engage with clients to understand event needs and service expectations
  • address guest inquiries and resolve service-related issues professionally
  • collaborate with event coordinators to align bar service with event goals
  • participate in planning meetings as needed
  • support additional events when not scheduled at the primary venue
  • adapt to varying event types locations and service requirements
  • uphold company standards for service professionalism and execution
  • ensure team members follow proper procedures and expectations
  • promote accountability organization and attention to detail
