Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in bar management or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and service
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and financial records
- Ability to perform under pressure and make effective decisions
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in bar management or a related field
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience in managing a team of bar staff
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and financial records
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and standards related to bar operations and safety
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, presentation and service, as well as wine and spirit knowledge
- Ability to maintain a level headed approach during peak periods and make quick, effective decisions
Job Duties
- Oversee the preparation, presentation, and service of all beverages, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery
- Manage inventory and ordering of bar supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Train, supervise and evaluate bar staff, ensuring that all employees provide excellent customer service and adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
- Develop and implement beverage menus, promotions and specials to increase sales and revenue
- Maintain financial records and reconcile daily sales, ensuring accuracy and accountability
- Ensure that all bar operations comply with local, state and federal regulations, codes and standards
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Participate in event planning and execution, ensuring that the bar is well-stocked and staffed for all events
