Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in bar management or related field
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and service
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial records
  • Ability to perform under pressure and make effective decisions

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in bar management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience in managing a team of bar staff
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets and financial records
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and standards related to bar operations and safety
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, presentation and service, as well as wine and spirit knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a level headed approach during peak periods and make quick, effective decisions

Job Duties

  • Oversee the preparation, presentation, and service of all beverages, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery
  • Manage inventory and ordering of bar supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Train, supervise and evaluate bar staff, ensuring that all employees provide excellent customer service and adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
  • Develop and implement beverage menus, promotions and specials to increase sales and revenue
  • Maintain financial records and reconcile daily sales, ensuring accuracy and accountability
  • Ensure that all bar operations comply with local, state and federal regulations, codes and standards
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Participate in event planning and execution, ensuring that the bar is well-stocked and staffed for all events
