Aramark's Aventura Catering division at the Phoenix Convention Center is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Manager. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily bar operations for all catered and public events held at the facility. The Bar Manager will ensure that guests receive exceptional service within a safe, pleasant environment, while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with all relevant laws and standards. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $75,000, reflecting Aramark’s commitment to offering fair and reasonable compensation.
The Bar Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the bar, including preparation, presentation, and service of beverages, managing inventory, training and supervising bar staff, and developing beverage menus and promotions to enhance sales. They maintain financial records and reconcile daily sales, guaranteeing accuracy and accountability. Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations is paramount, as is fostering positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products. Moreover, the Bar Manager actively participates in event planning to ensure that the bar is fully stocked and staffed appropriately, contributing to the success of every event.

Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in bar management or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and service
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and financial records
- Ability to perform under pressure and make effective decisions
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in bar management or a related field
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience in managing a team of bar staff
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and financial records
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and standards related to bar operations and safety

- Ability to maintain a level headed approach during peak periods and make quick, effective decisions
Job Duties
- Oversee the preparation, presentation, and service of all beverages, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery
- Manage inventory and ordering of bar supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Train, supervise and evaluate bar staff, ensuring that all employees provide excellent customer service and adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
